ARCHBISHOP MARIO DELPINI WILL KICK OFF THE III ED. OF "ORALIMPICS - THE OLYMPIAD OF ORATORS" ITALGREEN MAIN SPONSOR

Milan, June 28, 2019 - It will be the Archbishop of Milan Mario Delpini who will officially kick off the third edition of Oralimpics. Tomorrow, Friday, June 28 at 9:30 a.m., in Piazza Duomo, the captain of the oratories will light the Olympic torch together with some of the participants in the games.

The torch, carried by a group of Oralimpics athletes on bicycles, will cross the city of Milan touching important places for oratory sports: the City of Milan, Lombardy Region, Palazzolo Institute and Baranzate Oratory. The arrival is scheduled at the Tree of Life in Mind, Milano Innovation District, a venue that will also host this edition of the games.

Tomorrow evening, at 8:30 p.m., the Opening Ceremony, at Mind's Open Air Theatre, will sanction the official opening of the village of "Oralimpics - the Olympiad of Orators."

The whistle for the start of sports competitions and numerous activities is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, starting at 9 a.m. For the first time, the Mind site will be open to everyone to try out the different sports disciplines and meet numerous sports testimonials at different times of the day, such as Eleonora Lo Bianco, Daniele Cassioli, Beppe Baresi, Giusy Versace and many Italian fencing and shooting champions who have punched their ticket to Tokyo 2020.

The third edition of "Oralimpics - the Oratory Olympics" is staged thanks to the valuable support of institutional partners Regione Lombardia, Comune di Milano, Arexpo, CONI Lombardia and CIP Lombardia.
