While having a truly realistic effect, a synthetic turf field has many differences from those made of natural grass. Below are the main characteristics of an artificial turf field:

• Height varies between 4 and 12 mm, depending on the intended use
• The filaments are composed of polyethylene or polypropylene
• Draining properties: the field is usable even in heavy rains
• Technical characteristics specific to the sport that will be played
• Durability: resists wear and tear, UV rays, rain and wind
• Elastic memory: when stepped on, the filaments return to their initial position
