Italgreen Synthetic Turf sponsor of ASA Târgu Mure¿

It will be the players of the Romanian Serie A team - Liga I - ASA Târgu Mureș who will carry Italgreen's name on the soccer fields during the upcoming season. In fact, the Villa d'Adda-based synthetic turf company will be among the sponsors of the sports club founded in 2004 with the aim of returning a new team to the citizens following the bankruptcy of the historic ASA Târgu Mureș.

In the history of Romanian soccer, ASA Târgu Mureș's climb to success has not been easy: born in 2004 under the name Trans-Sil Târgu Mureș, it changed its name in 2008 to FCM Târgu Mureș becoming the city's main team as the outcome of the union of CS Târgu Mureș (dissolved in 1960), Mureșul Târgu Mureș (dissolved in 1964) and the original ASA Târgu Mureș (dissolved in 2005). In 2010 the team managed to win Liga I but lost the position the following season. In 2013 there was a turning point: the club changed its name from Fotbal Club Municipal Târgu Mureș to Asociația Sportivă Ardealul Târgu Mureș regaining its position within the prestigious Liga I at the end of the 2013-2014 season and collecting successes in the following seasons until winning the Romanian Super Cup and meeting AS Saint-Etienne in the UEFA Europa League.

A story with a happy ending that of ASA Târgu Mureș, a team founded in the town of the same name that surely still has a lot to give to the world of soccer. A real satisfaction for Italgreen, which will see its name on the uniforms of the red-blue champions inside the city's stadium and in all the facilities that will host away matches of the Romanian Seria A and international matches.
