100 million for sports facilities and school construction

The numbers and criteria of the "Sport mission" call for proposals.

100 million euros earmarked for sports facilities and school construction. This is what is provided by the new Call for Proposals, which makes available to local authorities 18 million euros in grants to totally abate the interest on 100 million euros of fixed-rate mortgages for projects aimed at the upgrading of municipal sports facilities including through synthetic turf, to be compulsorily entered into by 31/12/2018.
The final or executive projects for which it is possible to apply must be related to: construction, expansion, equipment, improvement, renovation, energy efficiency, completion and retrofitting of sports facilities and/or instrumental to sports activities, including those serving schools, including the acquisition of areas and buildings intended for sports activities.

Beneficiaries of the call for proposals

Beneficiaries will also be able to distribute the facilities obtained on mortgages of up to 25 years. Each loan will be eligible for full interest relief up to a maximum amount of €2 million.
Applications may be submitted from 10.00 a.m. on 05/07/2018 and no later than midnight on 05/12/2018.
Each application must be related to a single project or functional lot and will be examined through a counter procedure and admitted to a contribution until the allocated resources are exhausted.
The projects, final or executive, in order to be admitted to the contribution must have a favorable opinion issued by CONI, the applications submitted may contain the simple request for the opinion to CONI, which, however, must necessarily be acquired and transmitted via PEC by midnight on December 17, 2018 (it is recommended to activate as soon as possible for the issuance of the opinion at the web address http://cis.coni.it).
