B-Best Awards, Italgreen's turf is vice-champion
Ranked vice champion among synthetic stadiums in the Serie B league, the Avellino sports facility in which the Bergamo-based company was involved last summer.
The countdown tothe start of work at Syracuse's Nicola De Simone stadium, formerly the Vittorio Emanuele III stadium, is over: the grandiose project to install the synthetic turf at the Sicilian sports facility, which will see new light within 75 days, officially began in the last few hours .

After a championship year on the competition fields, the captains of the two teams, the coaches, the TV production service and the agronomist representing the LNPB gave their verdict, decreeing the excellent result achieved by the turf made by Italgreen. The ranking was created in light of the votes cast at each match, and the proclamation took place during the B-Best Awards night: the closing Grand Gala of the Serie B season.
The synthetic turf system at the Partenio
The Partenio-Lombardi stadium is the largest in Italy with synthetic turf. During the summer of 2016, Italgreen had completed the installation of a unique revolutionary hybrid system consisting of "Double4" synthetic turf with patented organic infill Geofill N. Built in 1971, the Partenio can accommodate nearly 30,000 spectators and with the work carried out by the Bergamo-based company, it has reached an important milestone by qualifying as a futuristic facility thanks to the hybrid system certified by the most important national and international institutes - LND and FIFA: a unique solution on the world market in terms of technology and performance.

Avellino's synthetic turf pitch thus ends the season among the best in its category, scoring 3.7, just a whisker away from the 3.9 obtained by Trapani, ranked first.
