Rugby puts the field to the test. In fact, it is not uncommon for teams playing on natural turf to be forced to regularly suspend matches to keep the turf in acceptable condition. However, an unusable field is not a good investment.

What is the best synthetic turf for rugby?
We produce three main types of synthetic turf for rugby, approved and homologated by IRB (International Rugby Board) and the Italian Rugby Federation: DOUBLE 4, DMX and All Star.
DOUBLE 4 is the performance vanguard thanks to the grass blades characterized by a double diamond shape, which can give the turf strength and high elastic memory. It is a two-tone turf, completely similar to a natural lawn, which guarantees:
- perfect foot support and torsion
- shock absorption and restitution of the energy needed for momentum.
DMX is composed of special monofilament fibers that are not afraid of UV rays, frost or continuous trampling because it can immediately return to a vertical position. DMX is a type of synthetic turf that is excellent for rugby because:
- it is as soft as a natural grass does not cause abrasions in case of a fall or slip by athletes
- it possesses superior elastic memory
All Star has a net height of 52 mm and is made of a special fiber with four combined and bonded sections that create, among other things, a reinforcement designed to retain the performance infill. This blanket:
- has optimal reflectivity and slipperiness indices
- absorbs shock and returns energy
- allows perfect foot support and torsion
