Volta Mantovana switches to synthetic turf
Volta Mantovana is a small town of just over 7,000 inhabitants in the province of Mantua that for the next few years has decided to invest in the sports and cultural sector, for the benefit of the young people who live in the town on a daily basis. The first phase of the project wanted by the municipal administration has seen the start of work in recent days, for the construction of a new soccer field in synthetic grass, created next to the already existing grass field.
The choice of synthetic grass
100 meters by 60, homologated by Figc and Lega Nazionale Dilettanti, equipped with LED lighting and synthetic turf with organic Geofill infill, are the features that will make the soccer field a highly innovative facility capable of ensuring optimal playing performance. Divisible into two equivalent parts that will provide a way to create two soccer fields, the new facility will be usable in all weather conditions, resulting in reduced maintenance expenses.
The completion of the work
The work will be completed by June, and Italgreen, which has been asked to make the synthetic synthetic turf that will dress the field, will also take part in it. For the Bergamo-based company, the one in Volta Mantovana is a new adventure that will add to the wealth of experience gained in recent years in the sports sector.
