Why are synthetic turf and multipurpose tennis courts better than natural ones?
Synthetic grass tennis courts , and any type of court in general, have many advantages that arise precisely from the type of turf with which they are made. Unlike natural grass, in fact, artificial turf:
- is extremely resistant to the wear and tear given by heavy use of the field
- allows the field to be used year-round, even following bad weather-the underlying drainage system, in fact, ensures that puddles and mud do not form on the surface
- is resistant to weather, ice and UV rays
- absorbs shock and returns energy to aid athletic performance
