PADDLE: WHY?
Let's find out the advantages and peculiarities of this sport that is also depopulating in Italy
Padel or Paddle is a relatively new sport that is catching on in the sporting world, so we want to explain what are the advantages for those who play and for those who own a Padel field made of synthetic grass...
So far the sport is mainly played in Spain, where enthusiasts say:
'el Padel te engancha' that is, it hooks you.
Why is Padel the sport of the future?
The number of practitioners is gradually increasing and there are many reasons why this sport is gaining so much success and there are benefits for both players and sports centers that own a Padel court.
First of all, it is an activity that can be played both indoors and outdoors, so in all seasons and in all weather conditions. In addition, anyone from 6 to 80 years old, man and woman, athletic or not, can play it easily and learn it in no time.
Some might think that Padel is a substitute for tennis, but in fact this discipline is a mix of three different sports: tennis, squash and racquetball. This can also expand the range of customers of a sports center and any other economic activities related to it (lessons, new students, courses, sale of equipment,...)

As mentioned above, there is no need to be trained to be able to start playing this sport, also because it is usually played in pairs 2v2 and the size of the court is small compared to a tennis court. This would also benefit the owner of a sports center, who could very easily convert an existing tennis court into two Padel courts, thus increasing the profitability of the space. This means that the players paying for court rental would increase from 2 to 8, greatly increasing the profit and optimizing the space available.
Today Padel has its own federation at the national and international level (Federaciòn Internaciònal de Pàdel), with several tournaments organized throughout the country and a growing number of fans.
